Book Summary

Life of the chronic pain patient is hard and acceptance is even worse. Years of trying to accept, hoping against hope that there will be a 'cure', and living in a family of able people all affect anyone with pain. Finding non-judgemental acceptance from family, friends, and even the medical profession can lead to an uncertainty of one's own worth. This was written through those uncertain times, including the times where my very existance was at risk.
