Lord Bhairav is an incarnation of Lord Shiva and the fierce form of Lord Shiva. By worshiping Lord Bhairav or Bhairon one can get rid of all the obstacles and enemies from his life. Lord Bhairav is worshiped on Sundays the day of Rahu by Coconut, Flowers, Sindoor, Mustard oil, black til etc. He can be worshiped on all days also for early success. It is believed that Lord Bhairav guard the Shakti's temple, due to which He is also known as "Kotwal". Batuk Bharav is the most worshipped form of Bhairav in tantra. Following are mantras for worshiping Kal Bhairav. Bhairav Mantras - "Om Batuk Bhairvaye Namaha" or "Om Hreem Bum Batukaya Apadudharanaya Kuru Kuru Batukaya Hreem Om Namaha Shiyaye " “Om Hraam Hreem Hroom Hrime Hroum Ksham Kshetrapaalaaya Kaala Bhairavaaya Namaha” Kaal Bhairava Gayatri Mantra Om Kaalakaalaaya Vidhmahey Kaalaatheethaaya dheemahi Thanno Kaala Bhairava Prachodhayaath. Bhairav Puja Procedure Keep a Shree Bhairav Yantra in front of you and offer Coconut, Flowers, Sindoor, Mustard oil, black til etc and do its mantra. Liquor is also offered to Bhairav. During the mantra sadhna it is essential to eat only once a day, observe celibacy and sleep only on the ground. Mantra is to be repeated 1,25,000 times to obtain the blessings of lord Bhairav. |
