Book Summary
Jesus the Jew by author and teacher Ignacio Gtz takes a bare bones look at Jesus. Through meticulous research, Gtz gives an historical and realistic account of the man who was Jesus, one that Fundamentalist and Evangelical teachings have ignored in their doctrines. Gtz debunks some of the views that these beliefs tout and contends that these ideals have no foundation in texts or true history. Who was Jesus really before theologians painted the pious picture of this great man? Why is his Jewish heritage downplayed and why are people afraid of learning about the true investigation that moves us closer to the truth of Jesus, his family, and his followers? Contrary to what you've come to understand or believe, Gtz's astonishing book will open your eyes beyond the dogmas and fanatical pronouncements that you may believe. Jesus the Jew is a remarkable chronicle that brings to light the historical reality of the man known as Jesus.
