Book Summary
Franklin Roosevelt and Lyndon Johnson are the Democrats favorites for they represent big government, welfare programs and big debts. The Democrats brought us two undeclared wars, which we did not win, refused to solve the problems they created with social security and our health system and created agencies of bureacrats to write laws. However, in spite of what the Republicans told us they would do we have the period where they reigned from 1994 to 2006 with a Republican president (for six of those years). During their reign the debt was doubled (adding $6 trillion to it ), two undeclared wars were fought, nothing was done to solve the social security problem and the health care problem was increased by adding the Prescription Drug Program. 66,000 employees were added to the government and 70,000 pages of rules and regulations were added to the Federal Register. We now have a socialist president, Barrach Obama, who seems to believe he can fix our recession by printing a triiion dollars and borrowing trillions more to cure the problem caused by the Democrat and Republican parties and and an uncontrollable Federal Reserve. We really need a third party who will uphold and govern according to our constitution.
