Book Summary
A meditative commentary written for the believer who is interested in a deeper walk with the Savior and Redeemer, this volume brings together sections from the Torah and Haftorah read in every synagogue each week with a corresponding portion from the New Testament. "TORAH SIMPLY SPOKEN - GENESIS" is a meditative commentary written for the believer who is interested in a deeper walk with the Savior and Redeemer, the Author of Life, Jesus Christ (Yeshua the Messiah). The scripture is divided into the same Torah portion and Haftorah portion (the prophets) read in every Synagogue each week. A corresponding portion from the New Testament is included. These three portions are then tied together into one meditation. Prayerfully as you read and meditate on what is written, your life will be enriched and blessed. The comments are thoughts written by the author as she was reading the weekly portions. As you read, and are taught by the Holy Spirit, you will most likely see word pictures of your own on which to meditate. Keep a notebook handy and be blessed JANE OWENS was raised in an evangelical Christian church and received Jesus Christ as her Savior at the age of four years. She has always been heavily involved in whatever church she has attended, from soloist in the choir to church pianist to hospital visitation to Bible study teacher. In 2001 she began attending a Messianic congregation of believers composed of Jews and non-Jews. This experience became a life changer and in her words she has "learned the Torah teaches us to have a right relationship with God and with our neighbors." She is presently a volunteer mentor at a state women's prison. Now retired, she is using her time to glean from her many journals and outlines writing meditations and articles to encourage other believers in our Savior and Redeemer, and those who are looking for the Author of Life, Jesus Christ (Yeshua the Messiah).
